This is an example page. It’s different from a blog post because it will stay in one place and will show up in your site navigation (in most themes). Most people start with an About page that introduces them to potential site visitors. It might say something like this:
Hi there! I’m a semi-retired geezer that is experimenting with this WordPress theme and using Elementor as my page builder. When I get the time, I will be making this website about the many ways that I love to help others. I currently work and Iive in Twin Falls, Idaho. Just a side note… in addition to taking care of my clients, I also have six other websites that I manage, so mine always come last.
…or something like this:
While most of my live I have been around radio and electronics, I didn’t get my ‘ham’ license until March of 2007. I don’t find nearly as much time to enjoy the hobby and get on the air as I would like, and keep thinking that ‘some day’ I will. I just moved to a new home and still deciding what antennas I can put up, given CC&R restrictions. UPDATE: Regardless of the restrictions I decided to be a rebel! I put up my OCF Dipole using military surplus fiberglass poles. The apex is about 35 feet, and the ends about 10 feet. I have been able to make QRP contacts around 500 miles, and other SSB contacts a few hundred miles farther. This with pretty bad band conditions. So far no word from ‘Karen’ or her friends. LOL!
As a new WordPress user, you should go to your dashboard to delete this page and create new pages for your content. Have fun!
O.K. I will delete this page soon, but first I want to do some experimentation. After all, that is what amateur radio enthusiasts do!
The Perrine Bridge crossing the Snake River gorge is how most people enter Twin Falls from the North. Base jumping is legal year around, one of the few places in the world where you can legally jump and parachute to safety below. I have a neighbor that tries to get in 3 to 5 jumps each day. Not for me!
